We are delighted to announce the upcoming publication of two books of Scott's photographs.

Edges of Bounty: Adventures in the Edible Valley

Edges of Bounty: Adventures in the Edible Valley (Heyday Books, Berkeley) is the result of a year's travel in California's Central Valley with writer William Emery. A collection of fine art documentary photographs and essays, this work is a very personal, impressionistic response to the stubborn grace of the Great Valley's small scale, independent food producers. Gazehounds

Gazehounds (Utah State University Press, Logan, UT) is the upshot of a collaboration between folklorist Eric Eliason, and Scott Squire. On the great plains of the Midwest, coyotes are hunted by men and dogs. Most hunting dogs follow their noses; gazehounds hunt with their eyes. They are bred for speed. Without making judgments about hunting in this manner, we aimed our curiosity toward understanding these dogs' complicated relationships with their people and their job.
